Has calcium- dependent phospholipid scramblase activity; scrambles phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylcholine and galactosylceramide (By similarity) . Can generate outwardly rectifying chloride channel currents in airway epithelial cells and Jurkat T lymphocytes.
