This HRP-conjugated secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity techniques and is suitable for ELISA and Western blotting procedures. The IgG component of this HRP conjugate is specific for normal rabbit IgG and is non-reactive with other serum proteins. The IgG-HRP conjugate contains between 2 and 4 HRP molecules per IgG molecule.

In this process, free sulfhydryl groups are added to the anti-rabbit IgG Fc prep just prior to its reaction with a 4-fold molar excess of HRP-M.
