Annexin V fluorescent conjugates can be used to detect apoptotic cells. The human anticoagulant Annexin V is a 35-36 kDa calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein with high affinity for phosphatidylserine (PS) . In normal viable cells, PS is located on the inner leaflet of the cytoplasmic membrane. In apoptotic cells, however, PS is translocated from the inner to the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane, where it can be detected by fluorescently labeled Annexin V. CF® Dye Annexin V Conjugates are provided at 50 ug/mL in buffer with azide as a preservative. CF® dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF®647 dye has excitation/emission at 650/665 nm.

Molecular weight information, where applicable, is listed on the datasheet under target details, useful for confirming the correct band on western blot.
Lead times depend on the product type: custom polyclonal antibodies typically take 12-14 weeks, monoclonal antibodies 15-17 weeks, made-to-order recombinant proteins 4-8 weeks, and made-to-order recombinant antibodies 6-8 weeks. These are estimates and may shift due to production delays.
A recommended dilution range for each validated application is provided on the datasheet, but optimal dilution should be titrated for your specific experimental system, sample type, and detection method.
