- Anti-Human CD11c may be used to stain monocytes and macrophages or hairy cell leukemia cells. This antibody can be used in studies of complement receptors. In malignant tissue, Anti-CD11c stains true histiocytic lymphomas and does not stain carcinomas or T- or B-lymphomas.

- Anti-CD11c In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (3.9) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

- 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added.
- Antigen Distribution
- The CD11c antigen is present on monocytes and in lower density on granulocytes and NK cells. The antigen is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukemia and in some acute myeloid leukemias. Anti-Human CD11c (clone 3.9) stains macrophages in acetone-fixed frozen section of human lung, brain, colon, skin, spleen, thymus and tonsil.
